There are a number of reasons why we recommend a Chiropractor?

The primary reason is because of what Chiropractors call, the ‘vertebral subluxation’.

This refers to a spinal joint that’s not moving or working as it should causing pain, spasm and sometimes radiating pain.

The causes include poor posture, repetitive activities, car accidents, fall, lifting, emotional or chemical changes, etc.

We provide not only spinal manipulations but solutions for muscle and ligament injuries as well.

Type of Chiropractic services at Cranbourne Family Chiropractic & Wellness Centre.

There are lots of varied approaches to treating spinal misalignment.

Mostly by manual adjustment by certified chiropractors is normally followed by a popping or clicking sound when the misaligned segment is restored to normal functioning.

Some patients, however, do not feel comfortable with manual adjustments.

Dr. Andrew Arnold says,  ‘we understand that. Many chiropractors, therefore, utilize other techniques like gentle traction, activator (spring activated adjusting device), Drop Piece table, Sacro-Occipital stimulation by treating spinally linked soft tissue lines and other electrical impulse tools.

At the end of the day, it’s up to you, the patient.

Exercise advice:

In addition to chiropractic treatment, you can protect yourself by strengthening or stretching exercises. As you can imagine, the bones and joints are surrounded by muscles, ligaments, capsules, cartilages, fluids, fats, blood vessels, etc. Therefore, it is very important for our body to maintain optimal muscle functioning with proper strength and sustainability and then take necessary nutrition supplementation to help support surrounding tissues.

Stretching tense and tight muscles is also very important.

Dr. Andrew Arnold believes over-loaded muscles may pull or push bone segments resulting in subluxation.

A golf swing or lifting a heavy container requires a significant amount of muscle contraction and this affects many primary and secondary muscles and joints.

The sudden overexertion of a muscle may cause strains and sprains. strain so stretching is vital to help manage the inherent tension within the muscles and help maintain flexibility.
