Dr. Andrew Arnold talks about Chiropractic care for low back pain in the workplace.

Chiropractors are commonly known for treating low back pain and Low Back Pain is prevalent in in the working place.

As Chiropractors are providing care with drug-free and non-surgery options, we believe that surgery is the last option for low back sufferers.

Recent studies based on Washington workers showed significantly reduced the risk of surgery when under treatment with a chiropractor.[1]

The Keeney et al research published in Spine found that approximately 42.7% of workers who first saw a surgeon had surgery, in contrast to only 1.5% of those who saw a chiropractor.[2]

It could be assumed that the patients who tend to see GPs first would have more serious conditions than those who seek help from Chiropractors. The results, however, show that Chiropractic is very effective for low back pain sufferers and stands up very well in comparison with other therapeutic modalities.
