A growing problem for many, people can often be confused about what they are experiencing and may not immediately associate their feelings with stress or anxiety. There are many and various symptoms that you can experience during an episode of stress or anxiety. Anything from shortness of breath, increased blood pressure resulting in headaches, inability to concentrate, sweating or changes in body temperature, insomnia, changes in mood, persistent negative thoughts or circular thinking amongst others. Stress and anxiety can occur for the first time for an infinite number of reasons. This can vary from a stressful situation at work to big life changes such as relationship breakdown or other life event or trauma. Stress and anxiety do not discriminate by age, gender, fitness level or any other recognizable difference.

Sufferers of stress and anxiety can have experienced these conditions for extended periods of time (chronic) or it can be a relatively new experience. It can often be difficult to identify what might have triggered the stress and anxiety and this is one of the first things you will do when working with Linda. Being able to identify how and why stress and anxiety show up in your life can go a long way towards finding a solution.

How we work with you

When you come in for your consultation Linda you will discuss what is going on and a recommendation will be made about which tools and techniques will bring you the fasted and most sustainable results. Sometimes this could be a quite passive process where you sit comfortably in a chair and experience a hypnosis session. At other times you may have a more active session of discussion whilst learning some of the techniques that will help you to deal with your symptoms when you are going through your daily activities. Each session is designed to get the best outcomes for each individual client in the fastest way possible.

Stress and anxiety solutions should be approached from a number of directions. A holistic approach works best and this can include Naturopathic and exercise advice however understanding how your mind works and understanding how to work with it goes a long way to reassure sufferers they can regain control and live happier more relaxed lives.
