Our Purpose
A greener healing place
We believe in ethical, natural, safe healthcare practices. This therefore, extends to living 'greener' both in our homes and our workplaces. So to align with this purpose it is our aim to implement the following where-ever possible.
- We re-fill our print and copier ink cartridges.
- We recycle our print and copier ink cartridges when not able to be re-filled using planet Ark.
- We strive to be paperless. This means we will ask you if you require a receipt to minimize printing. We will encourage you to complete questionnaires and forms on-line and return them via email. We will offer to email you current newsletters and other relevant information.
- We use recycled paper.
- We use document shredders for recycling purposes.
- We use bio-degradable cleaning products.
- We minimize fluroscent tube usage by using only one tube per light instead of two.
- We have cut down our PC's from 9 to 3 using the internet and laptop technology.
- We use PC's to complete our notes. We use virtual patient files.
- We use ink-friendly paper.
- We consume organic food product where-ever possible.
- We use cold water to wash towels and linen and bio-degradable washing products.
- Soon, your xrays will be emailed directly to us rather than producing a hard copy.
