Individually tailored exercise programs
At Cranbourne Family Chiropractic, as part of your chiropractic care, you will be invited to attend an exercise consultation with our resident Chiropractor. By tailoring exercise programs individually we can ensure that every person has a plan suited to their body and lifestyle.
The aim of the exercise plans is to help you reach your health and wellbeing goals with specific exercises and advice.
How we work with you
You will be shown exercises and provided with instructional information to take home. This ensures you are able to do these exercises correctly.
Please ask any questions you have as it is important that you feel confident and comfortable with the exercise program. As you progress, your health goals may change. Many people initially come to see us because they are suffering acute pain or an injury. Maintaining your health and promoting long term wellness is part of our goal at Cranbourne Family Chiropractic. Your Chiropractor will recommend exercise re-assessments to suit the changes in your body and goals.
This is important to keep you motivate, as outdated exercise programs can become inappropriate and not provide sufficient stimulation or results.
All exercises are based on using fitballs or gymballs, resistance tubing or bands, dumbells, or simply a chair or coffee table. All equipment is provided during consultations and demonstrations within the clinic, and some is available for sale for you to use at home. We can also tailor training programs to suit individuals to complement their treatment, weight loss, strength or even flexibility, either for home or gym (we work in conjunction with Casey Race).
